This week’s athlete shout out: Irma Elias! Irma has be steadily training for a year and has made constant improvements through. A little shaky and a little skeptical at first, she has embraced the training and learned everything she can, sparing no effort in trying to get it just right. She has also gotten her family involved, being a lightning rod for fitness awesomeness in her circle of influence. She is a mainstay in the midday classes and can always be seen laughing, chatting everyone else up and, most of all, dialing in that laser focus to hit her reps just right. Excited to see what the end of Year 2 looks like!

Missed a week! A few new introductions! Rayelle Sabo – Comes to us after some time off, ready to get back into action! Come train with her in the midday classes! Marta Gruszka Puzia and Arek Puzia – Two awesome folks just finishing Intro ready to hit the early AM classes! George-Erol Fouché Got some serious pulling power to work with – waking up early to hit that 6am class! Erika – Been hitting the gym hard for the last year and relocated to us to add energy to that chilly 6am class! Teri Willhite- Been at it a long time, and giving our facility a shot! Say Hit at the 11am class! April Orr- Also been at it awhile – lifting heavy things in the evening sessions! Say hi, make them feel welcome and show them what CFWC is all about!

We warm up, go through the movements and then blast through a tough, low barrier to entry WOD. Want to break up the week with some straight forward conditioning? Hit up the METCON class!

We want to get back to recognizing our amazing athlete community! This week, Kristine!! Kristine has been with us a LOOONNNNGGG time, so we have high expectations from her each and every class. She has not settled, is always working towards a new goal, works incredibly hard and has made consistent progress throughout her time with us. Her quiet intensity, strong work ethic and consistent openness to new cues, ideas and corrections to form make her great to have in any class. She is an active part of our community outside of the gym and is supportive to her fellow CrossFitters at every turn. If you’ve never been to a 5am or 6am class, come workout with her and witness her crush it live!

We are lucky enough to have a premium craft beer brewery, Copper Kettle Brewing Company, as a sponsor for tomorrow's Master's Competition. All podium finishers will receive craft beer as a prize. The Copper Kettle tasting room is at the front of the FRCF building complex. Both competitors and spectators get $1 draft pints all day. The Copper Kettle is open from noon till 9 PM tomorrow. They have several international award winning beers. Go down and check them out.
